Stephen Sparks, CEO

Stephen Sparks, owner and CEO of Sparks Personnel Services, has grown the business from a small single office firm, to be the area’s largest independent staffing company specializing in office support and financial-accounting employees.

While many companies primary mission has been to grow market share, Mr. Spark’s vision has been to build a staffing company that has the reputation respectful of his namesake. The company has realized significant growth over the years by providing excellent customer service and having the respect and support of our employees and temporaries alike. The solid reputation of Sparks has been built on the basic principles of honest communication, unparalleled commitment to quality, and putting people first.

Mr. Sparks serves in director or advisor roles with several private firms and one public corporation. These businesses include high technology hardware and software, radio broadcasting, and staffing.

In 1980, Mr. Sparks graduated from Southwest Missouri State University with a Masters degree in Business Administration after gaining undergraduate degrees in Marketing and Management.

Mr. Sparks is a member of the Washington/Baltimore Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization, an international organization of young heads of businesses.

In 1994, Sparks founded the Williams Family Support Center, a 501c private foundation. The WFSC built a Headstart school for pre-school children in his hometown of Mexico, MO.
